Cashew – Yogurt Chicken Skewers

Grilled, sliced chicken breast skewers marinated in an Elmhurst Milked Cashews™ yogurt marinade with garam masala, chili powder, turmeric, and cumin.

1/2 cup Elmhurst Milked Cashews

1 cup Greek Yogurt

1 tbsp. Lemon Juice

1 tsp. Garam Masala

1 tsp. Chili Powder

1/2 tsp. Turmeric

2 – 6 oz. Chicken Breasts, Boneless, Skinless

8 – 4″ Wooden Skewers


  1. Mix together the Elmhurst Milked Cashews, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, chili powder, and turmeric in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Dice the chicken breasts into about 1/2 inch pieces.
  3. Mix the chicken in the marinade mixture and let sit for at least 3 hours, or overnight.
  4. Soak the skewers in water while the chicken is marinating.
  5. Preheat grill to about 400°F. Clean and oil as needed.
  6. Fill each skewer with an even amount of chicken.
  7. Grill each skewer for 8-10 minutes or until an internal temperature of the chicken is 165°F.
